"Logic will get you from A to B, imagination will take you everywhere."

The dark unicorn, Chimera, thrived on imagination. Her creativity fueled the very existence of her world. She believed that learning would never be possible without imagination and that great things could never be achieved without it.
Chimera believed that the minds of humans were being corrupted by an intense influx of realism. She believed that the impact of realistic opinion was stifling the creative nature of art.
Chimera was furious with the cold and rigid realism being pushed into the minds of humankind, as she felt it was killing any natural imagination that was left. Fearing that this was threatening her existence, she gathered her minions, bursting apart the modern world, and stripped away all of the equestrian art that could be found.
As much as Chimera despised the realism she could never bring herself to destroy art. And so she scattered the remains of model horses throughout the land. She left some in tact, some protected by her minions, and others split up in many pieces. |
